MY LITTLE ARTIST
So my parents have a piece of furniture that they wanted me to repaint to give it a little more life. It was actually a piece my Grandpa Leigh made many many years ago. Anyway, I let Kyler paint on the back whatever she wanted......
1ST GRADE WOW!!!!
So this week Kyler headed back to school. She didn't really want to go, but she was still pretty excited that morning. Had the new clothes, the "Messenger Bag" ( the new hip thing I guess) which is about as big as her. She looked so grown up. She has a great teacher, so I am happy about that. It should be a great year. However, she did tell me that she does not like reading...ALREADY??? We also started her in piano lesson, so cute. My friend comes to the house which is fabulous. So we will see. Maybe she will be the next Carrie Underwood (one of her favorites):)

BRENDAN LEIGH'S BIG DAY
My little cousin, Brendan, tied the knot to Alyssa at a beautiful winery up past San Fransico. We all went and had a wonderful time. It was so nice to see all of my family. We all live everywhere, so it is hard to get together. The weather was perfect and the wedding was so gorgeous.

MORE MEXICO...
We took lots of walks on the beach. My calfs were quite sore. The water is just amazing to watch. The tide goes out so far and the designs it leaves in the sand are truly beautiful. The moon one night was so low, huge, and orange. I saw it moving up, it was crazy.
ANOTHER BIRTHDAY IN MEXICO #33
I spent another fabulous birthday at the beach house. Jonathan, our friends Blake and Eric, and myself all went down. We also brought our puppies. Sophie found a scropion (YUCK!!!!) outside at least. We had a great time, lots of sun, lots of games, water was warm, plenty of relaxing.
