MY BABY TURNED 6!!!

Kyler Leigh turns 6. I can't believe how fast it goes. She is doing so well in 1st grade and is such a sweet little girl. I love being her mommy!!!! I love you Kyler!!!

THE DOGS

So we watched my brother-in-laws 2 dogs for the weekend........meaning 4 big dogs in my house. They all get along well though. Also, it was Sophie's 1st birthday and Mimi had gotten her a new toy of which she destroyed in about an hour.

FABULOUS NEW BATHROOMS

We just finished remodeling our bathrooms. John's uncle Ken did an amazing job on adding some detail to our master bath and shower, and redoing Kyler's whole shower and bath. It looks amazing!!!! Thanks Uncle Ken!!!

ARTISTS IN THE MAKING

Kyler and her friend Olivia were having a blast painting. They started out very nice and calm, as I was doing things around the house. Then before I knew it, paint was everywhere...on them, the walls, the floor. They were too cute though. And thankfully it was all washable paints.

TIME TO REST

This is my fabulous family after a day of 1st grade, work, some hair cutting maybe:). Just relaxing on the couch watching some America's Got Talent....go MICHAEL GRIMM!!!

MY LITTLE ARTIST

So my parents have a piece of furniture that they wanted me to repaint to give it a little more life. It was actually a piece my Grandpa Leigh made many many years ago. Anyway, I let Kyler paint on the back whatever she wanted......

1ST GRADE WOW!!!!

So this week Kyler headed back to school. She didn't really want to go, but she was still pretty excited that morning. Had the new clothes, the "Messenger Bag" ( the new hip thing I guess) which is about as big as her. She looked so grown up. She has a great teacher, so I am happy about that. It should be a great year. However, she did tell me that she does not like reading...ALREADY??? We also started her in piano lesson, so cute. My friend comes to the house which is fabulous. So we will see. Maybe she will be the next Carrie Underwood (one of her favorites):)
